Surcharge Details:

Indian Subcontinent & Middle East to North America West Coast:

  • USD 2000 per Container

West and North Coast of India to United States East Coast:

USD 500 per Container

Scope:

The Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) is applicable to all cargo transported in 20’ and 40’ Dry, Reefer, and Special containers, including High Cube equipment. This GRI/GRA adjustment applies to all containers gated in full from the effective dates mentioned and is valid until further notice.

CMA CGM has announced a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for cargo shipments from Asia to the USA, effective from July 1st, 2024, until further notice. This surcharge applies to various cargo types, including dry, reefer, out of gauge, and breakbulk. The surcharge amounts are as follows:

USD 2,160 per 20' container (all types)

USD 2,400 per 40'/40'HC/40'RF container

USD 3,040 per 45' container (all types)

USD 3,840 per 53' container (all types)

The origin range includes Asia, specifically China, Taiwan, Hong Kong & Macau SAR, South East Asia, South Korea, and Japan.
